I called Emory as soon as I got back. I wanted to see how soon we could schedule the treatment. I was hoping to do it in a couple of weeks, but it looked like the best we could do would be in four weeks. A regular chemo had been scheduled, and the Emory doctor wanted her to recuperate from the surgery and the chemos in order to get her strength up for the transplant.
