We finally got a preliminary answer from the insurance company. Strange that they would pay for the visit to get the information, but then turn down the ABMT. We wished they had approved, even though we were only going to do the bone marrow harvest. It would have been so easy. The harvest is VERY routine. I don't see how they could not approve that. However I have to start the whole process of asking ALL over again.
